Mr. Visconsi is the Co-Founder of V2 Municipal Capital.
Prior to founding V2MC in 2024, Mr. Visconsi served as the Co-Head of Originations at Preston Hollow Community Capital. He joined the Firm in January 2018 as a Managing Director focused on transaction originations. In this role, Mr. Visconsi lead the originations – as the lead principal investor – on approximately $1.3 billion of transactions, with a focus on operating business including higher education, health care, senior living and governmental borrowers. He also led or co-led financing efforts on multiple products, including $800MM of tax-exempt long-term fixed-rate tender option bonds (Term-Matched TMT), $295MM of unsecured 4(a)2 taxable private placement debt and two rated municipal-CDOs aggregating nearly $300MM of assets.
Prior to joining PHCC, Charlie spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as the Co-Head of the Public Finance Department for five years. During Mr. Visconsi’s time at Morgan Stanley, the firm was consistently one of the top four negotiated underwriters of tax-exempt and taxable municipal debt, focusing on a diverse client base for complicated financings.
Mr. Visconsi graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in Economics and holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Business. He lives in University Park, Texas with his wife Julie, children -- Nicholas, Chris and Catherine and two bernedoodles -- Bexar and Poppy.
Mr. Van Den Handel is the Co-Founder of V2 Municipal Capital.
Prior to founding V2MC in 2024, Mr. Van Den Handel was a Managing Director on the Preston Hollow Community Capital originations team since August 2020. While at PHCC, his primary responsibility was deal sourcing across all sectors but he also led A/B financings and served as lead originator for workforce housing transactions.
Prior to joining PHCC, Mr. Van Den Handel spent 14 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Origination and Distribution for the Municipal Capital Markets group. He was part of a small team that built the municipal business at Deutsche Bank from a limited secondary trading operation to one of the most profitable franchises in the municipal market.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Van Den Handel spent 13 years at Raymond James, where he served as the Head of High Yield Municipal Sales for the latter five years. In this capacity, he worked closely with high yield investors across the municipal market including mutual funds, insurance companies and alternative investors.
Mr. Van Den Handel graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Political Science. He and his wife, Marina, have one daughter, Oriana, who is a senior at UCLA.
